Two second-half goals saw Liverpool crash out of the Carabao Cup against Leicester City at King Power Stadium.
Liverpool lost 2-0 at the King Power Stadium last night, against a well-organized Leicester City squad. The Reds’ Carabao Cup campaign came to an early end as second-half goals from Shinji Okazaki and Islam Slimani pushed the home side to a convincing victory.
Shinji Okazaki put the hosts ahead just 15 minutes after the interval with a scrappy finish that placed Jurgen Klopp’s side on the back foot.

The Reds went down further in their surprise third-round exit when Islam Slimani rifled home an unstoppable shot to put the tie beyond reach.
Liverpool are yet to see a victory in the month of September so far.
